*As usual, everything's wip and improving as we go*
We've finished Chapter 3! The game is getting closer to completion!
We've done a few changes both in sounds, and game mechanics. Enemies drop more money now, and Super Block doesn't need to be unlocked anymore! This has made the game much nicer to play in our opinion.
Although we won't mention where Chapter 3's dungeon is, we can tell there's lots of ice abound! Could this place hold a connection to a certain someone...?
The Seedling King is one of many optional big bosses! Even if his actions seemed cruel, the stomped seedlings will become beautiful trees some day...
Also...card games. But we won't say more than that!
Halloween's coming up, so have a spooky October!

Hey everyone, Chapter 3 is on its way!
A new field skill appears - digging! Kabbu can go through soft soil and sneak past. It also unlocks a new skill in battle!
Astotheles is the leader of the desert bandits. He’s looking for an ironically fair fight, so don’t even try to use items! He also likes breaking chairs on bug backs.
There’s actually quite the spoilerville in this chapter, so it’s going to get harder going forward to show the current events. As the plot moves forward, it becomes more difficult to determine what content we should and shouldn’t show…
But regardless, let’s tackle September with vigor!

Hey, y'all1 NZGDC held us up a bit, but it’s time for another roundup! Chapter 2’s been completed, and we’re moving forward.
This video focuses on some locations and enemies found in that chapter:
The Bee Kingdom!
Some more of the Honey Factory, and a miniboss!
The prelude to an optional area (Metal Island)!
It’s become clear that Bug Fables becomes really hard if a party member gets knocked out…Thankfully, Kabbu can now use the power of friendship (after a certain cutscene) to keep ‘em going! Vi and Leif have other skills to show off too!

Hey, backers! June’s coming to a close, so it's time for the round up!
Chapter 2 Status
Chapter 2 is coming close to completion, as work has begun on the Honey Factory! There’s still just a little bit to go, though.
All chapter 2 enemies have been added into the game. This includes all Ch. 2 desert enemies, all minibosses, and the factory enemies. Since chapter 3 also takes place in the desert, there were quite a few we needed to add!
Lost Sands
We’ve been adding more content to the Lost Sands, to maps that are important to both Chapter 2 and 3! It’s important for us to make sure there’s something to look forward to almost every part of it!
Bounty Quests
And last but not least…There is a shady place, deep within the Ant Kingdom. Here, one can take on Bounty Quests. These aren’t your run of the mill quest…be very, very prepared or you’re going to have a bad time!

Hey Backers. Another month comes with a bunch more progress! Stay tuned if you are part of the Merchant, NPC, or Miniboss tiers!
We’ve been working hard on Defiant Root and another of the towns, as they are both important to both Chapter 2 AND Chapter 3!
With new towns, comes a new chef and even more recipe possibilities!
And last but not least…they say that in the Hive, there’s a special place where you can relive your toughest moments!
